222 Covid-19 Patients Discharge In Jigawa State

Good news against the coronavirus as the Jigawa State Government has disclosed that 222 persons who tested positive for Coronavirus in the state have been fully managed and discharged after recovering from the virus. 
 

The state Governor, Alh Badaru Abubakar broke news during a press briefing in Dutse, the state capital on Monday, June 8. 


The Gov stated the state government released 222 out of 283 patients because they had fully recovered from the disease.

He pointed that 120 almajirai were among those that were discharged, while two others are still receiving treatment.
 

Gov Abubakar, who revealed the success recorded is due to the government efforts in ramping up testing capacity and increase in surveillance, also disclosed his govt has lifted all lockdowns and ban on weekly markets in the state.
